Firebase Firestore (cached legal data)

Official State Health Department URLs

OpenAI API (AI-generated fallback only when verified data is not available)

We never send personal information to OpenAI.

Provide accurate tattoo licensing and safety laws

Improve app performance

Cache state laws to avoid repeated API calls

Verify ZIP-to-state mapping

Generate legally relevant responses when official data is missing

We do not:

Sell personal data

Share ZIP codes with third-party advertisers

Firebase Firestore

We store only non-personal state law data

We may temporarily store a state name when caching tattoo laws

No personal information (name, email, phone, etc.) is ever stored
